Shoalhaven Uniforms are looking for a Full-Time experienced embroidery machine operator with an eye for detail to join our team. We are located on the NSW South Coast in the coastal town of Huskisson. Embroidery Machine Operator Role:

We are seeking an experienced embroidery machine operator that can work independently with minimal supervision. The role will potentially grow where you can have the opportunity to work yourself into a management role within the business.

Embroidery Machine Operator Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 4pm

Friday: 8.30am – 12pm

Overtime can be available dependent on the workload.

Embroidery Machine Operator Pay Rate:

The rate of pay will vary for this position based on the candidates experience within the industry.

Embroidery Machine Operator Experience Required:

1) Previous operation of commercial Embroidery Machines essential

2) Working with Wilcom software essential (Editing Software Minimum)

3) Basic understanding of Machine Maintenance

4) Must be able to mark out, frame, fold and package clothing for embroidery

Embroidery Machine Operator Preferred Experience:

1) Capability to digitize files is preferred, but not essential

2) Knowledge of Heat Transfer, printing, weeding and transferring

Embroidery Machine Operator Daily Tasks:

1) Operating a 1 x 4 head and 1 x twin head machine simultaneously

2) Printing, Weeding and transferring artwork followed by applying it to garments

3) Hooping garments ready for embroidery

4) General machine maintenance – Oiling and tension adjustments

5) Inventory control/monitoring

6) Trimming logos, if necessary

7) Folding-up & Re-Packing completed items in a neat and tidy manner

8) General other duties as required by the Factory Manager from time to time

1) Above average in Maths and English.

2) Must be self-motivated, have an eye for detail and keen to learn.

3) Although often self-directed, you must be confident working in a team environment with constant input, changes and ideas from other stakeholders.

4) Well-developed communication skills, across all levels.

5) Show an enthusiastic and positive attitude towards all tasks.

6) An ingrained attitude towards achieving & maintaining high standards towards safety, quality & service.

7) Have your own transport.
